The Alert Master System and Add-On Camera packages come with an Ethernet cable connector. The cable connector is useful for situations in which you wish to mount a camera at a distance that is longer than the cable we’ve supplied you with.
If you find the power supply cable (yellow connector) is too short for mounting your camera, lengthen the cord by purchasing longer Ethernet (CAT-5e) cable and use the cable connector to connect the two Ethernet cables together.
