Camera settings allow you to put your cameras to work monitoring and recording the way you need them to. Use the Camera settings dialogs to accomplish the following camera-related tasks:
· | add/find a camera |
· | reboot a camera (keep settings) |
· | reset a camera to factory settings |
· | rename the site name |
· | change camera name |
· | enable or disable audio |
· | enable or disable night vision (700n and 700e cameras only) |
· | turn off or turn on status LEDs and/or motion LEDs |
· | change the placement (and text color) of camera details on the video window panel on the Live and Playback screens |
· | change the video image settings (i.e. brightness, contrast, and orientation) |
· | remove a camera from the network |
You will find the default camera settings work for most conditions. But, adjusting these options for your own applications is easy and straight forward.
Camera-specific dialog screens
Once you name a camera, Commander will create a dialog settings screen just for that camera. On that settings dialog screen, you have to ability to view and edit camera properties, specifically, camera name; video quality; audio; and LED activity.
Advanced options allow the user to modify brightness and contrast, video orientation; and remove a camera. The screen is accessible at Settings > Cameras > [Camera name].
